Estelí, Nicaragua – Drew Estate has announced its latest release, branded as the “Stucco,” is using tobacco from the infamous 20 Acre Farm in Florida. Although the entirety of the blend has yet to be released, it is reported to have a chicken wire binder.
“The Stucco was a natural evolution of our brand and very complementary to the recently released “Adobe,” said Jonathan Drew, adding, “We are in love with the tobacco from my good friend Jeff Borysiewicz and can’t wait to see what we can do with all of the tobacco he is sending us.”
The 20 Acre Farm owner, Jeff Borysiewicz, commented that he is, “Truly amazed by the amount of tobacco that just 20 acres in Florida can produce.” He is not wrong. Not only are they producing enough tobacco on the farm for all of the original Florida Sun Grown (FSG) cigars, but Drew Estate has enough to continue producing several vitolas of regular production cigars with the harvest and development of test blends for future production.
“If harvest numbers keep growing as they have been, we are on schedule to outproduce the entirety of Mexico’s San Andrés Valley region.” Jeff continued, “We are excited about the future and just can’t believe what a little good ole American ingenuity can do for the industry.”
