Steve Saka is getting the band back together. Collaborating with Nick Melillo to develop the Sakapotamus making the Unicorn not just a stand-alone cigar but a line.
Steve Saka and Nick Melillo, the dynamic duo behind what was Drew Estate’s early success, are teaming up to release a new edition to the Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust line. The joint announcement was made at the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival this weekend.
When asked about the collaboration, Saka said, “I am doing great on my own, but I feel like Robin without his Batman. When working with Nick, I feel like we can do anything.”
Nick Melillo continued, “Yeah, Steve and I go back a long time, and I am more than happy to help a brother out when he needs it.”
The new and improved cigar is set for release late in the year, it will have much the same blend as the Unicorn but may actually be a decent-tasting cigar and not just a rare cigar due to his collaboration and the blend adjustments made by Melillo. Melillo added, “Steve had the bones there, I just needed to refine it a bit to make it enjoyable. The most noticeable change will be the Connecticut wrapper I am putting on it.”
No pricing or final release date is available yet for the Sakapotamus.
